NO.1「ありがとう」

｢ありがとう｣という言葉は、宇宙一いい言葉だと思います。
いいときに感謝することはあたり前、つらいときこそ感謝する。
「天地に風雨あるが如く、人生また順逆を免れず、順にして奢らず、逆にして尚その逆たることに感謝したい」僕はひまわりが大好きです。なんか元気をもらえる気がするんです。
この絵の原点は3年半前、リハビリ病院のベットの上でのこと。深い絶望の時、新しい、絵という「表現方法」を発見して、心がちょっと落ち着いた時でした。落ち着いたら、生かされている自分に、そして家族、友達、神様に「ありがとう」と感謝の気持ちが湧き上がりました。
絵の上に文字を書いたことも初めてでした。以来、このスタンスは今も続けています。
この絵は、ポストカードも原画も一番売れますが、この絵以上の作品を書くことが表現者の僕の課題です。
