This work of art is a Tobidas artwork depicting an infinite universe, using the simple yet profound Chinese character “ichi” as a motif.
The powerful stroke is a beginning, a connection, and a suggestion of infinite possibilities. A single line floating in the vastness of space. It seems to symbolize the existence of “you,”
whom I miraculously encountered among the myriad of stars.
In the infinite universe, we were able to encounter each other by chance. I put my gratitude for
this miracle in this “ichi” line.
The single line extending from the point of beginning represents the connection between us,
and beyond that, the infinite future that we will walk together.
The joy of meeting you, out of the uncountable number of stars that exist in this universe, was
like a ray of light shining through the darkness, brightening my world.
