うつむき加減で口元に手を添え、微妙にほほえんだ弥勒菩薩半跏思惟像に、強い意志を感じた。
「修行」のテーマにする作品にぴったりと感じました。
バックはめらめらと燃え上がる炎を描き、修行の厳しい現実を表現しました。
