古代の中国では生き物の長として「龍・鳳凰・霊亀・麒麟」という四霊獣があります。四神も言われます。

麒麟(きりん)は古代中国で、聖人が出現して良い政治を行うときに、その前触れとして現れるとされる想像上の動物です

この原画は
東京都中央区の日本橋の青銅製の「翼を持つ麒麟（きりん）像」を
参考して、描かせていただきました。

もともと麒麟は翼がありませんが、

明治時代に日本橋を架けた際
ここが日本中の道路の起点であり、
「日本橋から飛び立つ」という意味を込めて翼が
付けられたと言われています。

ご依頼者さんは経営者で、
