発病当初、病院にたくさんの仲間がきてくれたが、「ありがとう」と伝えることさえできない状況でした。感謝の気持ちを表現したいと、突然、絵を描きはじめた。
きき手の右手が麻痺なので、左手に筆をもった。自分でも不思議だった。文字はなんと書いたかわからないのに、絵はすらすらと筆がおどるように描ける。
僕は、この絵をお礼のハガキとして仲間に出しました。
